GRAPHIC DESIGN COMPETITIONS
3DLuVr Competition - Competition is open to everyone, worldwide. Submissions must be created by a single artist and only one entry per artist is allowed per contest. No team work submissions can be made. No multiple submissions are permitted either. This contest is open to all 3D applications. You may use any 3D application of your choice or combination of several, but no pre-made models allowed. Creating textures in 2D paint programs or using premade textures is permitted, limited Photoshop and alike activities are permitted (corrections to contrast, brightness, noise) but nothing fancy. The submitted image should be in JPG format with the maximum resolution of 800x600. Artists are required to supply their full name, valid email address, country of residence, and the name of the 3D application used to create the submission. Winners will be notified by email of their prize/win within 72 hours of publishing the results of the voting. The image will remain the property of the artist, but the artist cannot claim or demand any compensation for having his/her image displayed on 3DLuVr sites, or while the image is being used for sites promotional purposes.
Anti-War Graphics - As creative individuals trained in methods of mass communication, we can make a real difference by providing clear anti-war messages. Use your talents for the anti-war effort and create anti-war graphics for free distribution to activists worldwide. You can submit your work as PDF, TIFF, GIF or JPEG. Resolution: 300 dots per inch (dpi) for print-based works, 72 dpi for online works. Size: 2.5 megabytes (MB) or less. For higher-quality scaling and smaller files, consider outline (vector-based) output.
Communications Arts Graphic Design Annual Competition - Juried by nine top design professionals and attracting entries from 20 countries, each year’s Design Annual features 250 pages of the best work in posters, brochures, packaging, trademarks, corporate identity, annual reports, catalogs, letterheads and signage, and is fully indexed for reference. Published each November, 76,000 copies of the Design Annual will be sold and distributed worldwide, assuring important exposure to the creators of this outstanding work. Deadline is June 03, 2005.

Lessedra World Art Print Annual - An international print annual with the premise that no art form has broader implications in contemporary society than that of the print. The aim is to gather and exhibit contemporary art print works from all over the world and to contribute to the contacts and the exchange between artists, art lovers and collectors and to stimulate the research into paper, inks, and other materials used in printmaking. Each artist should send no more than 3 works: original prints. Entries may feature any type of method of printmaking and should be signed and numbered by the artist. The maximum dimensions of a work are 29 x 23 cm. (paper size). Participation fee is 50 EUR for all European and 50 USD for all another countries and it covers catalogue production, organization of the exhibition, invitations, posters, advertise materials, print return and catalogue postage. LESSEDRA Gallery & Contemporary Art Projects will publish an exhibition catalogue including all participating artists and works. Every participating artist is kindly requested to send a brief biography on CD or via E-mail and a personal photograph. Exhibition with all the works will be organized in The National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria in June 2005. The works will be returned within five months from the closing date of the exhibition.
Nodus Logo Competition - Nodus Design are giving you the chance to win free, premium, high visibility advertising on their site until 2006. For the next 3 months they will be running a competition to design the logo for their new company brand. All entries must be original and must be not copied, wholly, substantially or partially from any other work. The competition will run in a single stage format and is open to everyone. You can submit your entry in the following file formats: jpg, gif, bmp, tif, png, psd, cdr, ai, pdf, eps and tga. There's no entry fee. Deadline is March 31, 2005.

Third Peugeot Design Competition - The 3rd Peugeot Design Contest is an international competition that is open to anyone aged 14 years or over. Everyone is welcome: amateur designers, design schools students, professional designers apart from the automotive industry. This year’s theme is to design a personal ideal automobile. The projects will be judged on its consistency with the theme, how well it relates to the values of the Marque, its innovative and surprising character, its potential appeal and the quality of the final project. Any person who submits a design with the intention of entering this contest certifies and guarantees that they are the sole author of the work and that no third-party rights have been breached either directly or indirectly. At the end of the contest, Peugeot will build a full-scale model of the winning design, which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2005. To the winner, in addition, a sum of 6,000 € inc. VAT. Web users will be able to submit their design by e-mail only between 15th October 2004 and 8th December 2004 at 12:00 am (midnight), French time. By taking part in the contest, entrants grant free and non-exclusive license on their design. Entry into the contest is free of charge. Deadline is December 8, 2005.
