ArcadeTrainer.com needs a redesign and some coding work to be done. Arcade trainer is a Download game site, what your actually downloading is the trainer for the game. What is a trainer. (description taken from wikipedia.org) Cheating in video games involves a player of a video game creating an advantage beyond the bounds of normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier. Typical cheats include unfair advantages such as invulnerability (”God mode”) or an infinite amount of some resource such as ammunition. Cheats may also create unusual or interesting effects which do not necessarily make the game easier to play, such as making enemies tougher, or giving characters (including enemies) different appearances, such as large heads. Cheats often take the form of ’secrets’ placed by game developers, usually to reward dedicated players. Cheats may be activated from within the game itself (a cheat code implemented by the original game developers); or created by third-party software (a game trainer) or hardware (a cheat cartridge). ArcadeTrainer.com is coded in PHP and mysql and small parts are ajax. The idea is for the users to select a game they wish to play, which then will bring them to the game page, where there will be a button for the user to download the trainer. Then the user will be able to rate the game, rate the trainer, make comments, send to a friend. I would like the redesign to have a cheat theme. I would like dark colors using navy blue. New design must include New Header Logo with the text ‘Trainer Site for Online Flash Games’, fav icon, 468 x 60, 125×125, 100×100 and 88 x31 banners. It would be good if use of graphics where placed through out the site. Like on the top of menus and on the top 3 hackers they would get a graphics of some kind. I will let the designer choose where to put the graphics through out the site. All game pictures must be square e.g 100×100 or 125×125 whatever you decided to use. Or maybe you decide to choose just text (this would be easier to maintain, but wouldn’t look as good.) Room for a 728×90 advert at the top of the site for all pages. Also room for other adverts through out the site like the side bars. Place the Categories somewhere A small warning notice stating that arcadetrainer.com will not be reasonable for the content on the site or something of those lines. Also to mention the user must have an up to date virus checker installed on there computer. This will be explained in more detail in the Privacy Policy. I also own arcadeprehacks.com, so if you need anything from there, I can give you access to the site. Home Page Show the latest trainer uploads like on www.arcadeprehacks.com - Each trainer must include a game pic, Game title, Trainer Information, Category, date added (if there is no room then leave it out), Trainer by, Game rating, Trainer Rating, Hacked with. Side bars - You choose if its going to be 1 or 2 depending how it will fit in your design. But they must include Member login, most popular, best hacker, search bar, top rated, cool links and (hot stuff banners can be placed some where else). Site stats to placed in like www.arcadeprehacks.com at the bottom. Game Page I will leave this design up to you. But it must included game image with download button room for a 300 x 250 advert. Other recommend games in the category, game info, trainer description, description of the game, rate this game, I would like to to be changed from 5 out of 5 to 10 out of 10 rate this trainer,10 out of 10 two buttons ‘Trainer working’ and ‘Trainer not working’ button (I will explain this in more detail later) The code for other webmasters to advertise the game on their site (the colors of this need to be changed with the design). Include a text which says ‘Click here to find out how to have the newest Trainers appear on your site! ‘ which will lead to another page like this one http://www.funnyjunk.com/latestfreecontent/ . Add to my favs, take out ‘report this game’ as its being replaced. Ajax comments box which I have a copy ready to be installed or can make one from fresh (up to you). I want the comments box same as http://www.funnyjunk.com/games/572/Crazy+Jeep/comments/2 The one which i will supply is fairly basic like the one on arcadeprehacks. Tell a friend box. Other pages on the site like tell a friend, submit a hack etc need to be redesigned, but most of this work would of been done by then. Every time you login or pm etc, you get this blue page in between hitting the submit button. I don’t like this much. Is there anything which can be done about this? Can i have your ideas please. Coding work Submit a trainer upload page This can be taken from arcadeprehacks.com, but I would like to change this to members only. Submitters have to be logged in to submit trainers. In the user panel There will be 2 more links ‘Manage Trainers’ and ‘Submit You Trainers’. This way they can keep track of the trainer they have uploaded, delete any trainers they don’t wont on there, edit current content e.g. description, upload a new trainer/image to replace the one which is already there. Only zip and rar files can be upload. Add the fields ‘keywords’ . and the field ‘Program/Software used to hack this trainer’. Take away the hacked by, because this will be no longer used as the submitter will be logged in. As soon as the game is uploaded the game is live. All the current games on the site can be deleted so it does not interfere with members only thing. I will upload a new batch when the site is complete. Trainer working button and Not working button. There will be 2 buttons on the game page, One green ‘Trainer working’ button and one red ‘Trainer not working’ button. This idea for this, is to take out the trainers which no longer work. The only way I can think of making this work is to disable the game after the difference of -10 is made. So if 5 users rate the trainer working and 15 users rate the trainer not working the trainer is automatically disabled. If there is a better way please let me know. Best hacker top 10 This will work on the ‘vote for a trainer’ on all the trainers this person has made (an average of all the trainers the person has submitted) So if the person has made lots of trainers which are ranked poorly then he will have any over all low ranking in the best hackers chart. However if he has made just a handful of trainers which have been ranked high then hacker will have a high rank in the top ten. I am not sure how the vote system works on the site, so I can not go into much detail about how this will work. Users can only vote once a day per game. Some IP log system needs to be set up. Webmaster to advertise arcadetrainer games on their site I want this to be a page like http://www.funnyjunk.com/latestfreecontent/ . which the webmaster will have a choice of The latest trainers, the best hacked and the most popular. This will work on rss feeds which are already in place on the site. The only one which needs to be set up is the best hacked trainer. When the webmaster places the code on their site it will show a box of the 3 relevant games. Comments System Like i said before I already have a ajax comments system ready to be put in place, but I would like it modified. Basically the one I am after is the same one http://www.funnyjunk.com/funny_pictures/1841/PostIt+My+Ride/ - This needs to be integrated into the site so users must be logged in to post comments. I understand this might take some time to make this ajax comments box, so you might want to give this to someone else to do. Add page numbers to the bottom On arcadeprehacks.com you see the home page as the latest games in pages of 20. I would like this the same with the pages at the top and the bottom of the games. Send weekly emails There is one already in place on arcadeprehacks.com. This can be copied from there. Its just a .php page already made for this I think its just a matter of adding a field to the database and a simple edit in the profile page. On arcadeprehacks.com it is called daily emails, but now I have changed this to weekly emails. (cron job) Admin section - www.arcadetrainer.com/admin In the users tab when you click manage you get a list of 10,000 users. This takes time to process and is a pain when your trying to ban somebody. It needs to be broken into pages of 1000 and a search at the top. There is one already in place for the games, so it can be copied from that. That’s about all. Any questions feel free to ask. Hi, I am interest in completely revamping my current website as will be seeing a lot of increased traffic from recent publicity and want a new fresh look instead of my current template based site. All content can remain the same or similar for now but I will need the ability to easily edit my new site with little or no html knowledge like maybe a built in wsiwyg interface of some kind as I will need to make frequent updates. Also the ability to easily upload my new site and and any updates to the web. My current hosting provider is 1and1 internet which I have been happy with and would like to remain with them if possible. I also need the ability to easily post embedded video from sites like youtube, insert updated picture files and the ability to easily add more pages, links, etc. Look: want something modern looking graphically with a fitness boxing theme as that is my biz niche. I do personal fitness training and fitness boxing, and traditional boxing training. I am open to any ideas the designer may have. Would like to better integrate my current logo but possibly change the color of the logo, also willing to look at any new logo ideas you may have. would like to seemlessly integrate some new picture files of myself and clients into the current design smoothly so they fit right into the theme without the look of just a regular pic file — more of a cutout that fits right in if that makes sense. We are wanting to update our wanakapaintball.co.nz site. WE have a new logo, and plenty of pictures that we’d like to put on. The website will be basic, but look ‘cool’. There will be a home page, with the details on the games. A game scenario page, with details on the different options of games. A Price Packs Page, with details on the price packs. A Members page, where members of the Wanaka Paintball Club can log on, to see the amount of paintballs they have bought off us and the points they have gained - plus new member can sign up. There will be a sign up fee, so there will need to be an ecommerce portal for this. There will also be a forum page, where local paintballers can communicate with each other and book games in. MySpace Game / Application We need coding for a MySpace game – this game will be modeled after Mafia Wars and Bulletproof. The basic layout will be almost identical to Mafia Wars, though obviously, names and actions would be changed. Home Page will display menu options and character attributes. As certain attributes regenerate at designated time intervals, timers would be needed under those attributes to designate refill times. Characters will all be from MySpace userbase through the use of “invites”. I believe the code is generated through OpenSocial. We will also have random Bots programmed into the game to do certain things at certain times. Characters will have certain attributes that will be used to determine success in battles, performing jobs, etc. These include Attack Strength, Defense, Stamina, and others. Simple compares of the characters will be used to determine winners in a battle. Certain attributes will be checked in order to perform other functions within the game. Other character attributes can be discussed in detail later. A Fight List will be used to determine targets. Game must be programmed to show characters of the same level or range. The list would ideally list 50 players of the same level/range. There will be a “Hitlist” where people can place bounties on another players head. This player will be added to the list and the general public can attack said player. Stipulations will be put on the operation of this and will be discussed in detail. Player advance through levels by gaining experience points. Experience points are mainly accumulated through winning battle, either by direct battles or victories on the hitlist. Monies are also taken from players when winning a battle. All characters have the ability to equip themselves with weapons and armor type items. These items add “points” to their character attributes in terms of attack and defense. Characters purchase items though returns on properties. A Properties menu would be needed to purchase said items. The game will incorporate a “rewards system” much like SRPoints – where a player can purchase, with real money, “points” to use in the game. This is done through an IFrame, though the incorporation into the game will need to be accomplished. The majority of the graphics and terminology will be provided by us. This game will require a period in which to address bugs/glitches. Also, we will require very small updates for the first couple of months, or until we have learned how to incorporate them ourselves. These will just be minor additions to the game/changes to existing items. There will be Top Player Lists and other “extras” that can be discussed should we contract your service. This game will operate much in the same manner as the two mentioned games, except we will be “tweaking” some of the problems that we have found with these two games.
