Jason Reed Web Design: Senior Designer Needed for Product Incubator (Updated)
(Anywhere) I’ve launched a small product incubator, currently looking to build about 4-5 new projects every year. I’m looking for a designer to take over a good chunk of the design responsibilities- someone with whom I can collaborate. I’m hoping to be able to focus on UI, wireframing and development and leave the bulk of the design to you. As such, I need someone with very high level design skills. I want to find someone who won’t just be an order-taker- I want to find someone with great ideas on how to improve interfaces. I want to find someone who isn’t satisfied until the details are right. ** Requirements ** * Experience with grid based design. * Experience designing great user interfaces- including designing great forms * Familiarity with standards-based XHTML/CSS/JS. * Near-obsessive attention to detail * Love of great typography * Strong understanding of color/contrast The plan would be to hire you for a small task and see where things go from there. We’re hoping to establish a working relationship with you first before we commit to anything more. We don’t have plans to hire anyone full time yet, but we’ll consider it in the future.
