Method: Front-End Developer
(New York, New york) Web Developer well versed in XHTML, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, CSS, XML and Web 2.0. Familiarity with rapid development languages such as PHP is a big plus. The candidate should have a deep technology background with experience in creating SEO friendly pages, semantically correct markup, Web 2.0 based sites and Ajax based functionality. This position will focus on end-user oriented applications that need to be integrated with back-end technology. Responsibilities: o Working with Design/User Experience team members to define customer requirements and formulate the design o Develop leading solutions for clients o Creating client side code which includes XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and integrating with RIA objects such as Flash and Silverlight o Contribute to methodology/process Qualifications include: o Experience and expert-level skills with XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML. o Understanding of Web development technologies: Javascript Frameworks, Ajax, DOM Scripting, Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, PHP/Symfony, etc. o Ability to debug existing client side code and PHP as needed and troubleshoot performance issues on the client and server side o Experience in CMS, Social Networking Platforms and eCommerce platforms are a plus o Ability to translate business requirements into viable technology practices o 3-5 years industry experience as a Web Developer Job Perks: Method combines user-centered design research, world-class design talent, and rock star developers to create comprehensive design systems.
