WPCoder: Experienced WordPress Developer
(Anywhere) Do you love working with WordPress? WPCoder (www.wpcoder.com) is looking for an experienced WordPress developer to join our development team as we look to expand our project capacity. Applicant criteria: -Must be fluent in creating pixel-perfect XHTML/CSS templates from PSDs -Highly experienced with WordPress, with both the back-end admin panel and with front-end theme development -Includes widgets, custom theme functions, plugin integration, etc. -Intermediate to advanced knowledge of PHP and Javascript (jQuery works) -Must be comfortable with communicating with clients via a Basecamp-type environment or via phone/Skype if needed -English is your first language -Determination and understanding of tight deadlines -Ability to commit ~20 hours per week (give or take) to WPCoder projects -Ability to work with a team of funny and chill guys Bonuses: -Experience with Adobe Illustrator and/or Fireworks -Advanced knowledge of jQuery -Experience using WordPress ecommerce plugins (HUGE plus!) -USA location (for time zone purposes) -Great sense of humor We aren’t looking for companies or agencies here. The applicant must be able to devote a fair amount of time to his/her WPCoder projects.
