Digital Pacific is a web hosting and domain name provider based near Central in Sydney; we are a fun dynamic company with an outstanding reputation for delivering quality service. Our operations started in late 2000 and have been growing rapidly over the past 24 months and fortunately amidst the economic downturn we don’t seem to be slowing down in 2009. We are looking for a designer (Part time or Full time) that can design clean 2.0 style sites, your portfolio will tell the story so don’t tell us how good you are, just send us your resume. To be successful in this role, you must have: Ability to create web 2.0 style web sites (if you don’t know the 2.0 term, don’t apply) An excellent understanding of Photoshop and Flash A strong conceptual and design ability A high level of Web Design Skills (Web Standards, XHTML , CSS) An excellent portfolio A high level of skill across the full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Flash) A good understanding of current technology trends Required social Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A positive and friendly attitude to fit with our company culture Logical thinker An ability to learn quickly Someone that can work autonomously We also have after hours office activities such as going to the pub or dinner, BBQ ’s, in-house table tennis, Nintendo Wii or just hitting the high seas on our 44ft sports cruiser.
