Graphic Designer Position at Sizzling Platter NO H1B or Corp to Corp, please! Local Candidates only! Resume must include an Online Portfolio for review. Candidates will be given a brief assignment to test proficiency. Job Summary and Essential Job Functions The successful candidate will join our Marketing team to employ skills for the following tasks: Maintain and develop brand standards, via our online portal for communication to outside designers and print ships. Collaborate closely with operations and development teams to produce consistent branded material for online, print, or outdoor media. To oversee all outsourced materials produced. Create outstanding user interface designs for both web and point of sale applications. Knowledge / Experience 3+ years experience designing top quality, edgy, and contemporary print and online media. Must be a rock star designer. Must have demonstrated strong attention to detail and quality. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Did we mention you need to be a rock star designer? Some managerial oversight experience. Skills / Abilities Basic HTML and CSS a plus. Expertise in graphical applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and Flash (Mac). Expert eye for color and usage of graphics with an understanding of how these affect customer response. Creativity combined with a willingness to work within general parameters. Manage multiple tasks and ever changing business requirements. Strong communication and problem solving skills. Design with conviction but willing to compromise for functional purposes.
