I need someone to take the Jpeg image I have of this logo and turn it in to an Adobe Illustrator Vector image so that my sticker cutter will read the format and cut the sticker with smooth edges. I’m also looking for someone to design a business card layout for Aacadia as well… The reformatting is what is most important right now…

We have a requirement to have some 3D graphical symbols developed for a product that we are bringing to the market in the coming weeks. We have a software product that we are developing to build models of processes by combining objects in a 3D workspace. The objects represent the “things” that make up the system. The objects have a default graphical symbol that represents the object – this symbol is often replaced by the user with their own symbols. For example the user might place an abstract “server” in their model, and then replace the server symbol with symbol of a drill or lathe. We have standardized our product around the Sketchup product from Google. We provide the user with the capability to import Sketchup files, and to download symbols from Google 3D Warehouse. The user would typically replace our “default” symbols with more appropriate 3D symbols from 3D Warehouse. We need a set of default 3D graphical symbols that look nice in a 3D view, and look like a symbolic flowchart in a top-down view. Each 3D symbol represents a modeling object for describing a system. We currently have all of our modeling objects depicted as 3D rectangles – but we would like the shape of the object to suggest its behavior. An entity is an object that moves through the system. By default we show this as a green triangle as shown below: It would look like a simple triangle from the top view, but have thickness in a 3D view. An entity starts at a source object, moves from object to object over pathways, and then departs at a sink object. A vehicle is a special type of entity that can carry other entities. It might be represented by an abstract cart with four wheels A Source creates entities that enter the system. A Sink destroys entities that arrive to it. A Server models entities being processed – the processing activity requires time. Entities may queue on the input and output side of the server. A Combiner produces one new entity from two separately arriving entities. The combining operation may require time to perform and entities may wait as a result. A Separator that splits one arriving entity into two different entities that depart on the output side of the symbol The separator operation may require time to perform and arriving entities may wait as a result. A Workstation is a more complicated form of a server in which the service activity is divided into 3 phases: Setup, Processing, Teardown. A BasicNode is a “node” that represents a simple intersection where the travel paths for entities merge and diverge. A TransferNode is a more complicated form of the “node”. Nodes are represented as small diamonds. The user should be able to distinguish between a basic node and a transfer node – perhaps only by color shade. The fixed objects in the system (Server, Combiner, Separator, Source, Sink, Workstation) have nodes on the input and/or output side of the symbols, that represent points where entities enter and leave the objects. For example a Source has a node on the output side where entities leave the Source, and the Sink as a node on the input side where entities arrive to the source. Below is one concept for the Source and Sink objects in 3D. Note that the top view looks like a schematic even though the 3D view is more involved. This is just one idea for representing these concepts – perhaps there is something better. Perhaps the other symbols might be something like the following: Server: A simple rectangle Workstation : A rectangle with 3 – sections representing setup – processing – teardown Combiner (top view) showing two incoming flows merging into one outgoing flow. Separator (top view) showing one incoming flow separating into two outgoing flows. , A resourced is something that is used by other objects (e.g. a server). Resources can be anything, but often they are a worker. Perhaps an abstract looking person that looks good both in 3D and from a top view would make a reasonable default resource symbol. The user typically lays out their model in a top view, and then switches over to a 3D ortho or perspective view. In the top view it should look like a 2-D flowcharting program, but in the 3D view it should have a pleasant 3D appearance. So bottom line we are looking for someone to design and draw (using Google Sketchup format) a set of default 3D symbols. We would like to get these done as quickly as possible. Ideally someone would provide us with a couple of options for each symbol so that we can select between them for the final product. We are looking for someone to take a 10-15 slide PP presentation that was created by engineers and sales people and make it pop. Help us organize the flow to bring the audience to the place we are leading. Animation and graphics may be required. The target audience is the investor community of our Mobile Technology company.
