*EDIT* Further details have been attached in Word format. *EDIT* I am looking for an estimate on how much it would cost me to have a website built. Some requirements are below. Contact me for any further information you might need. The site is to have these pages; “Home Page”, “Classifieds”, “Chat Rooms”, “Message Boards”, “News”, “Location Selector”, “Advertise with Us”, “Weather”. All pages that allow a submission (other than the “Location Selector”) are to have a “Security Image” feature (Numbers, 5 digits). Each page is to have a banner on the right side. The banner is to have a random ad that is displayed and is location based (national shows only national ads). Ads are randomly chosen when page loads. These ads will be changing and needs to be updatable by myself. Changes may be daily. All databases must be accessible through MSAccess or a Free database program as I will be updating them personally. I can fill in the database info myself. Site has a Membership feature. Membership is a free sign up that allows a “personalized” homepage (based on database information), permission to post on the classifieds, and enter the “Boards” and “Chat” sections. Membership Sign up will require Username, Password, and email address. Zip Code input is optional and if it is submitted then their local area will be selected then. If no zip code is submitted then they are set to “National”. Users are required to log in (with Username). Users will remain logged in until they log out. Location Selector Click on “State” drop down and it produces a list of States. Once a State is selected, it populates a drop down “County”. Once a County is selected, it populates a drop down “City”. Once a State, County, and City are selected (or Sate and County or just State) and the “Submit” button is clicked, that area loads as the default for the visitor until it is changed (location stored in a member database). The location can also be searched/selected by Zip code (which will load the specific location or a list of locations under that zip code for user selection). Homepage is to be customizable to place “Widgets” for Local News, Local Weather, World Clock, the 5 newest posts in the classifieds section for their selected area, and the 5 newest posts in the boards section they chose to “watch”. Classifieds are to be set up with a “Title” and “Body”. The Classifieds Listings will be set up with an automatic numbering system, ex: “PA0001″ for “Pennsylvania 0001″ (National is to be “USA0001″. Each classified is to be numbered upon submission. Classifieds needs to be set up in a “Database” format so that a Visitor/User can search for a specific listing by title, keywords in the body, location, and/or “Listing Number”. This needs to be accessible by myself so that Inappropriate/Illegal listings can be removed at a moments notice. Only members are to have permission to place a listing and must be signed in. The members need to be able to remove their own listings. There is to be a page where the members can view all of their listings and the listing numbers for their listings. Members can post their listing in any number of areas they choose via a “Drop Down Box”. The number of areas they are posting to can be increased by clicking a button “Add Another Area” which will produce another series of “Drop Down Boxes”. Classifieds filed under “National” are to be displayed in the “National” viewing only (not individual state, county, or city views). Classifieds can be viewed by state which will show ALL classifieds in the state setting (ex: New York State view will show all counties in New York and all cities in New York State). News is to have an option to search Local News (based on selected location) and National News. Weather is to have an option to search Local Weather (based on selected location) and National Weather. “Advertise with Us” section is to be a form that can be submitted by a visitor to advertise via a banner ad on the website. The user will be able to select multiple areas they wish to advertise in (National is to be National View Only). For a visitor to advertise, they must pay a monthly fee. City advertisements are to be $5 per month. County advertisements are to be $25 per month. State advertisements are to be $100 per month. Visitors will be required to upload a banner that they wish to use for advertising, via the form. Payment is to be made through PayPal (I can set this up later). Once the form is submitted, the advertisement is to be handled by a database that will choose where to put the advertisement (ex: New York state ads display for all New York state, New York State Counties, and New York State Cities – County ads will display in all the cities in the selected county - City ads will only be displayed in the selected city). There needs to be a “Contact Us” link in reference to requesting a banner being designed for them.
