Contract Graphic Design Projects for Graphic Designers & Web Designers

Hello, I am responsible for a new project in our office, called “The Rebranding Project”. The project contains 10 points that will have to be completed by the end of the second semester of 2009. I would like to give you a total overview of our office, our services and more important, the new path we decided to to take in our business approach. Hoping that this overview will help us communicate better and understand our the needs. The 10 points of the project are the following: 1. Rebranding the name “a certain Law firm” 2. Creating a new logo 3. A website for the firm 4. New design for stationary documents 5. Remote employees 6. Paperless office (+ remote access of staff and clients to documents) 7. Communications (PBX) 8. New methods of recruiting new customers 9. New Office 10. Brand loyalty system Our office is located in Jerusalem Israel since the 1980’s, it currently employes 4 Lawyers and 2 administrative employees. We specialize in private law. Amongst our clients, we have NGOs, organizations, religious organizations and private clients. Most of our “client recruitment” comes from mouth to ear recruitment. Back in the 90’s a new “wave” of lawyers emerged into the market (I guess it was trendy) turning Israel into the country with the highest ratio of lawyer per citizen in the world! The situation made us change our business plan, employing less manpower but recruiting bigger customers.  Today we are looking to expand our business, but trying to keep costs on the low. We need new smart* marketing ideas and new and modern concepts of recruiting new customers.  It is extremely important for us to look really “up to date” and professional (boring is our enemy).  As part of the project we plan to be present in more geographical locations without renting real estate (part of the virtual office plan). * The Israeli Lawyers Bar has harsh limits on advertising and marketing legal services or legal firms. Our image needs to convey a sense of 1. Professional service (image of an important law firm) 2. Creative and personal service 3. Creative 4. Cutting edge in design 5. Cutting edge in technology (limited in our field) 6. Artistic and open minded A lot being said, finally I would like to present our advantages and our disadvantages in our local market: Our Advantages: 1. In the market for more than 25 years 2. Have an excellent reputation 3. Very well know amongst our potential “big clients” 4. Excellent legal services 5. Good management  Our Disadvantages: 1. Market condensed with lawyers  2. Out-dated client recruitment (mouth to ear) 3. Old office 4. effectiveness in document management  5. effectiveness in document location Finally, we get to our main point, the Website. I want something out of this world, different, creative. I want it to be nominated for prizes and good enough to be nominated as website design of the year. I know I want my website to be out of this world, but I’m not! I know a it’s hard, after all a “law firm” is boring and there isn’t a lot of space to be creative, but this is our image and publicity (we are very limited to the publicity we can do, by the lawyers bar) so I basically need the website be the publicity. The concept and built don’t have to be mainstream, “unorthodox” ways can be used.  Another thing I would like to offer, is an integration of paintings into the website, this is a part of a collection that we can use for our purpose http://www.quptylaw.com/art/Yvette_%26_Mazen_Qupty_Collection/Pictures.html The website will have to be interactive, it will have to  present our firm, our work and services, our fields of expertise, present our office and team a contact form, and maybe a small blog. The Website will have to: 1. Attract traffic (from internet reviews for example) 2. Attract potential customers 3. Serve as a platform for staff (as a second step) 4. Serve as a platform for clients  for follow up on their case (after step 3) 5. Be creative (good enough to be published on http://bestwebgallery.com/, or win prizes) Main Limits to the website: 1. Cannot contain pictures of people 2. No music “with words” (vocals) 3. “Has to be respectful to the profession” 4. Cost! I hope I made myself more or less clear to what I want.
