Responsibilities: Design multimedia, content rich websites and web portals from conceptualization to realization. Web application development. Contribute to improvements in the usability and design standards. Perform maintenance of websites. Design online banners, print ads, and promotional materials. Undertake any other ad-hoc design work of company projects and materials. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of web design experience. Diploma in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Multimedia Design preferred, but not a must. Passion is a must. Outstanding sense for creative design. Outstanding ability to understand and execute information architecture, good UI concept and Navigation best practices. Have a strong design portfolio to show. It is mandatory to provide your portfolio and curriculum vitae in your application. Excellent front end coding skills (especially HTML and Javascript). Experience in designing e-commerce / retail websites. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Freehand, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Flash. Working knowledge of web scripting languages – asp / .net / Javascript / HTML / Dreamweaver / Flash / PHP and MySQL, MS SQL databases preferred. Able to work well on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Must be capable of completing large volume of work quickly. Estimated monthly gross pay $2,000 – $3,000 depending on skillset, qualification and experience. Applicant should be a Singaporean. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. I need an e-commerce site designed and loaded with the content. I have all content, pictures etc. We are a distributor for Jamco products and their web site is www.jamcoproducts.com. Please look at their site. We need an e-comerce site with these products. I allready have a merchant account, as we now sell them to the government, but we want to sell to end users as well. My budget is $2,000.00, time frame is 60 days and this site will be used mostly by industrial users looking for these products. The site should contain a shopping cart, shipping program to figure the freight and be easy for us to maintain.

JSDN Media LLC , a web development firm based in Bowie, MD, is in need of a talented, yet reasonably priced freelance web developer to partner with on various projects. Illustration for equestrian magazine - Illustration Freelance Job

We are a monthly equestrian magazine focusing on trail riding (outdoor riding and camping with horses). After we get the articles into our office, we decide which one’s of them we would like to have illustration, and then we would submit you the project. We use different styles: cartoon, technical (anatomy etc), artistic interpretation. We would send you the article to glance over to get the sense, then a bullet point list of what elements we would like to have incorporated into the illustration. then it is your creativity that takes over! Usually it is just one introduction illustration, but sometimes it would be the main one and several additional to illustrate specific ideas in the article. Not always horse specific. could be equipment, medical, abstract.You would submit a rough draft to show the direction you are going, we approve, you would send one more proof for final editorial approval to see if there is anything we needed tweeked… then the final comes through. Our turnaround time requirement is a week, we can do everything through email. This would be work every month for each new issue.
