The idea is that I would like to offer a service for people to subscribe to that allows them to call a number, and if they are a good standing member, they can talk directly to a professional plumber or electrician. This is to help customers "do-it-yourself". The site should allow users to upload pics of their problem and have some knowledgebase vids and pics. There should be a "how the service works" section. I am sure I will need some disclaimers and an agreement from the customer. There will be a membership fee taken by credit card on the site and a membership number will be issued. Then, the user can call in and we can check if they are in good standing, and give them service. Also, the membership no. will allow them into the knowledgebase section. There should be a "manage account" utility. There should be a place for me to upload new knowledgebase pics and vids. There will also need to be a place for me to manage the users and log their questions (possibly also giving them a limit on service). This is the basic idea, I am sure there will be some changes. I am looking for a basic estimate for all design and development for this site. More Details….. the customers will have a phone number to call. if they are a member in good standing, they can talk to a professional Plumber or Electrician. I don’t have all the details ironed out, but this is the basic idea. I want to charge money to have consultations with Professional Artisans. People often think that when they call a Plumber or Electrician the Service call is too costly to have them come for small Jobs. My service will provide them with the help they need to do it themselves and save money. One yearly membership will entitle them to a certain amount of times they can call in and get the help they need. I have been doing Plumbing and Electrical work for some time now and I find that when the job is small or when the customer is not going to have me come down because the service call charge is too high for the job, I can usually walk them through it over the phone. In my business I gain their trust and they call me again when they need me for something bigger. I have found that this is a need that I can fill on a larger scale and charge for it. I would eventually want to get retired Plumbers and Electricians to be on call like a AAA Roadside Assistance and take the calls. They have the expertise that can help people with most of their issues. If I would do that, I would like to automate the system and route calls etc… For now, I dont need any of that, just a membership and a way to check if the member has paid and is not past their limit. On the front side I need to market my service and have some samples of the knowledge base section. Maybe some testimonials as well. Let me know if this answers your questions…

Hi, I am interest in completely revamping my current website as will be seeing a lot of increased traffic from recent publicity and want a new fresh look instead of my current template based site. All content can remain the same or similar for now but I will need the ability to easily edit my new site with little or no html knowledge like maybe a built in wsiwyg interface of some kind as I will need to make frequent updates. Also the ability to easily upload my new site and and any updates to the web. My current hosting provider is 1and1 internet which I have been happy with and would like to remain with them if possible. I also need the ability to easily post embedded video from sites like youtube, insert updated picture files and the ability to easily add more pages, links, etc. Look: want something modern looking graphically with a fitness boxing theme as that is my biz niche. I do personal fitness training and fitness boxing, and traditional boxing training. I am open to any ideas the designer may have. Would like to better integrate my current logo but possibly change the color of the logo, also willing to look at any new logo ideas you may have. would like to seemlessly integrate some new picture files of myself and clients into the current design smoothly so they fit right into the theme without the look of just a regular pic file — more of a cutout that fits right in if that makes sense. Am looking for a very creative design that makes my site completely stand out and easier and more efficient to navigate. I was hoping to have this job done for me in return for my testimonial and a link on my site plus maybe a very minimal fee as I expect to be getting a lot of traffic due to recent national publicity which would mean more exposure for your biz as more people would be viewing your work of my new site. Hello - I need to have a website developed to market and sell online 4 products (custom usb drives). I have looked around for templates that I like such as the one below. I want to be able to add or delete products from time to time, and I want to be able to change prices and product descriptions. I want to be able to process credit cards on the site and paypal. Category : Web Design, Budget : Not sure I am looking to have a single homepage created for my forum. It should be a page that has a picture slideshow where every picture is a link to a different page on the forum and some text. There should be an overhead menu which would link to different sections of the forum. Please recognize the simplicity of this project and bid according to that.

Technical (+) assistance needed to develop a new Pligg or Drigg-based site from scratch. Specifications set out below: 1) Pligg or Drigg CMS implementation to achieve digg-like functionality (please state preferred OS in your response). 2) Custom template development - or modification of an existing template to meet specifications (please state in your response whether an existing template can be modified to meet specifications). Basic features to be achieved by implementation+template: - displaying max. +/-5-8 digg-like items on the main page at all screen resolutions (if impossible, please state this in your response or put forward alternatives). - preference for the number of votes on digg-like items to be expressed graphically rather than numerically (suggestions welcome). This is non-essential. - look&feel (e.g. for tab bar and colour) indications will be given. - (optional) graphics: design of top bar with logo and tagline (detailed indications on logo concept will be given). Navigation bar and buttons may be needed to reflect logo and look&feel. 3) Integration of display bars of rows of +/- 5 flickr and +/- 5 youtube thumbnails near bottom of screen or as a floating window/widget (and possibly elsewhere, e.g. as is done on www.mixx.com which displays thumbnails for related pictures when clicking through on a story). The aim is that the 2 rows of thumbnails remain visible below the digg-like items also on smaller screen resolutions (laptops, netbooks and if possible mobile phones). If this requires far-reaching development, please state it in your response; it is non-essential but is strongly desired. 4) Installation and configuration of Pligg or Drigg and of relevant modules/plugins, as well as the custom template, to achieve the desired features and look and feel. • Modules to be implemented include (examples from Pligg): OpenID login (alongside Pligg’s own site login – both options must be available to users), Captcha, Quicksubmit (or easy link submission system), Image link/upload, Spam prevention, Mobile, Blackball, RSS Feeds, Ajaxchat, and any further relevant or equivalent modules or plug-ins. • Integration of Google Adwords and multiple display advertising options. • Integration of Twitter-based submission of links if possible. 5) Quick online training of site admins/moderators (using IM, VoIP, desktop sharing, etc.). 6) Support and maintenance through closed beta and open launch phase. Opportunity for extended support and maintenance and further development contract in case of user take-up. 7) Preparation for multilingualism would be welcome. 
Any further relevant suggestions will be considered. 9) Statement of expected start and end dates for the project required. Please quote price in total AND quote separately for each of : (i) CMS Implementation, (ii) Template Development, (iii) Module Implementation, (iv) optional Logo Work, (v) Thumbnails (see above), (vi) Twitter (see above) (vii) Training and Support. Full portfolio of achievements needed to enable contractor selection.
