Contract Graphic Design Projects for Graphic Designers & Web Designers

GasPedal and the Blog Council are looking for a fantastic, motivated web designer/producer to take over our web sites, blogs, and social media sites. You’re going to stabilize our brand look, improve the graphics, add new features, and make it easier to use. Get our content online, out the door, looking great, smartly coded. You’ll create and edit web pages, build new sites, and re-style off-the-shelf applications (like blogs, shopping carts, and all sorts of plug-ins). You’ll look forward to testing different platforms, figuring out which tool is best for the job, skinning it to fit our brand, and hacking it up a bit to be just right. Then you’re going to build something new every month or so: A new blog, a community, a cool email, or whatever’s hot. We use XHTML /PHP/CSS, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite.You will: 1. Improve graphics and templates, with a clean, bright, consistent look 2. Add new sites/pages for new projects, expand our sites as we add content 3. Build a sensible user experience and simple navigation through a ton good content 4. Code the design on the right choice of open-source publishing platforms for the job 5. Occasionally, create print pieces to match the look of the sites 6. Know WordPress really well This is an opportunity to do it like it should be done.
