One of my clients is wanting a flash intro page to their website. See the attached static image (this is not the exact image to be used, but very close.) When the flash loads, she wants the visitor knock on the door, then it will open, creaking as it does so, and show an image of the interior of the shop, then you go through the door then open up the link to the main html site.

Designing the front cover, back cover, CD, and tray card for my upcoming CD, entitled “Racing & Retracing.” Any ideas for designs are welcome, but my initial vision is kind of a rough or unfinished sketch/drawing/etc. of an old-school racecar in motion. That would kind of embody both the “racing” and the “retracing” aspect of the title. The entire design should have a similar theme/concept, and the same picture/drawing could even possibly be used multiple times (on both the front cover and the CD, for example). The design specifications are as follows: CD disc: 1394 square pixels (design should be squared without circular or hub markings, but the CD itself will be 1394 pixels in diameter) Front cover: 1423 pixels (width) by 1411 pixels (height) Back cover: 1423 pixels (width) by 1411 pixels (height) Tray card: 1772 pixels (width, including two 74-pixel spines) by 1385 pixels (height) ALL: 300 DPI/RGB/16-bit color/no bleed

We have a tri-fold, 4/4 brochure that uses solid blocks of CMYK blue throughout. 3 or 4 of the images display nursing/medical staff wearing medical scrubs in varying shades of blue. The blue portions of those images require editing to color match the CMYK solid blue prevalent in the brochure. We are also open to any other minor color adjustments as you see fit. Hello, My wife and I are going on our yearly boat trip with a few friends. Every year we come up with a logo/group name and put it on a T-shirt or something else. This year it’s up to me to develop something. Since I have no graphic design/artistic ability, I thought I’d try this site based on a few recommendations. We are going to the BVI and as such I thought a good theme would be Pirates/Skull and Crossbones. Im looking for something fun, not menacing. Perhaps a Jolly Roger with rum bottles instead of leg bones. The atmosphere on the boat is very light and mostly drunk (except for the captain of course). I’m hoping some talented designer out there can come up with something great. The final design should be in .jpeg or similar format as to allow downloading and transfer to other media. Hi everyone. I’m setting up an online teaching school and I’m offering video-chat lessons also. On the v-chat lesson booking page I have created a from in html … but … I need someone with expertise (I’m guessing Java) to create a calender or yearly calenders with Day, Date, Time of lesson to be booked. I need a set-up where, once a time-slot has been booked. THAT SLOT has to CROSS-OUT. That particular lesson is no longer available. I also need a calculator added somewhere for the students who book multiple lessons. Then two things need to happen. 1) The form needs to come to my email. 2) The student needs to be directed to my paypal account WITH the total calculation for that purchase, so as they can check-out. We are developing a consumer-focused security application. It needs to look familiar (like people expect a security app should), but I would like it to be bold. We are a very small company, so we particularly want the product design to signal to the market that we are well polished and for real. Though we do not do what these products do (our feature set is different and smaller), our users will be the same kind of people who download AVG, Spyware Doctor, Spy Sweeper, and other security apps from Download. You will have the freedom to do ground-up design– from basic color palette, to application icon, and so on. Though this sounds like a great deal of work, we are a very small company and we are not averse to beginning with 2 or 3 existing product as starting points for ideas. We need you to be able to work with us to make this come together in a timely way. I would like to have direct contact with the person doing the creative work. I would prefer to work with someone in California, or the USA in general. I would only consider overseas freelancers if their portfolios are particularly strong. I would like to pay on an hourly basis (not project basis). For each daily/weekly milestone, we will discuss it ahead of time and estimate the number of hours required. Thanks!

Greetings! Here is what I need: a simple certificate design for a military school. The layout will include a few graphics which I will provide. I need you to make it look official and appealing and for the layout to have “fillable” blanks for the student name, date, course title and the names of those who are signing the bottom (officer and NCO in charge). These certs will be locally printed so a MS-WORD doc would probably be best. Thank you for your consideration. This is NOT funded by the government or military. I need some initial logo concepts for a conference which is being held in New Zealand. The conference is being held in Wellington NZ and my client wants to bring in the mountains, harbours and windy city elements into the theme and logo. The aim is to present a modern, culturally active and sophisticated Congress. The main colours that will used are blue and green. This project will not follow the usual course that a logo does in that you only need to supply concepts/graphical elements - you will not be required to make change after change to finalise the logo as the graphical elements you supply will be used to finalise the logo. The concepts/graphic elements need to be supplied as vector files (preferably in Illustrator up to CS3). A minimum of 3 concepts are required.

The scope is split into 3 (three) parts with the intended output of this work being a short presentation whose audience will be potential investors for our residential construction projects and products. Also, the secondary natural output will be a product design that will be used by engineers/architects to create construction drawings for physical product construction. Part 1: Take existing client-provided conceptual sketches (think back-of-the-napkin designs) and render them into three dimensional structures. - Include conceptual exterior renderings of 4 (four) residential structures with client directed edits (red-lines) of each rendering as required. - The renderings shall be placed on existing client provided digital photography as background to show the products in their intended natural environment. Part 2: Create 8 (eight) interior renderings of client-selected spaces in each of the 4 (four) products (32 total interior renderings). - Standard fixtures and finishes for the desert southwest United States shall be used. -Include Client directed edits (red-lines) of each rendering as required. Part 3: Create computer generated an ‘animated’ presentation of our intended process that will function similar to a PowerPoint presentation. - This presentation will not be interactive. We intend to distribute the presentations via DVD, CD, or mini-CD for our audience to view the presentation as a short film. - The presentation will cover the following items: comprehensive overview of our product, components, design, capabilities, manufacturing, distribution, construction, end-user options, and financial summary. - Include renderings from Parts 1 and 2 (above), client provided digital imagery and other client provided material, client provided floor plans, client directed processes (we are showing our manufacturing process), and creation of items requested by the client as required (renderings/pictures of industry fixtures and equipment if not provided by client, for example). Please price each part independently as a lump sum. However, please also detail your pricing as much as possible (hourly rate, rendering construction, edits, etc.) for purposes of comparison as this is a competitive bidding scenario. 3D animation required for supplementary footage to a children’s Christmas story narration. The story is to be read by a “real” actor playing Santa sitting in an armchair by the fire and will be of broadcast quality. To enhance the experience of the viewer the intention is to overlay 3D shorts that follow the narrative. We require about 8 minutes of footage broken into four shorts of approximately 2 minutes on average. For example, one of the short clips will include a sleigh’s eye view flying above old Victorian London. Another will include elves at computers. Final renders required by end of March 2009. NOTE: We will not pay up front (not even 50%), so if this is your policy please do not bid.

We are a online retailer selling human hair extension products. We have just taken 8 new photos (1 of each colour) and need them photoshopped to have a symmetrical curve on each side like this: All photos need to have the curve in the same place in each photo. Some photos have also come out slightly cream on the background so this needs to be changed to white. There also may be a few strands that need to be edited. This job should be an easy project to complete!

We want to develop a system for referral marketing and need a simple instant design and print programme like OpenOffice - but a little bit more creative. We also need a website that starts with a landing page – and then the visitor would pay and enter the main site itself. This main site will contain the instant design and print programme for them to download. The principal content of the site will be of business-to-business referral opportunities and development. No content, advertising or otherwise, will be paid-for content. Once someone has paid the entry fee, they will be given a password to enter the main site, advertise and promote their business, exchange ideas, enter into joint ventures and make contributions through avenues on the site. As this will be an initial experimental project, we want to hold the cost down to no more than £500 for this complete design package, including the design and print programme. We know this is a long way below the market value of what we want, but we would be willing to give an undertaking that whoever agrees to do this will have ‘first refusal’ to build the ultimate website at its true value. With this in mind and in order to evaluate the viability of this project, we are looking for a designer - or design company - with flair and creativity. We are looking for animation of the “operation of construction tools”. Say, for instance, a circular saw. We are interested in having the steps of operation animated rather than having a model perform the steps in video. I believe we would leave the person (model) out of the image and show the functions of the tool. For instance: Setting up a workspace. Showing the safety movement. Showing the blade turning. We can provide a flash video clip of each action we want to animate. We would like bids based on EACH 30 sec animation. We will definately have shorter ones and longer ones, but trying to get a baseline so that we can select someone. We may get into specific manufacturers of tools too. Such as Porter Cable, Makita, Ramset, etc. That will require manufacturer specific rendering.

The project is to make animated frames for any story, for eg, pinochhio and then taking print out of those frames on a mat paper to make a cartoon book. the print out stuff can be taken care by myself.So, the bidder has to basically make the frames for the story of around 40-50 pages.
