Icon Empire announces version 2.0 of IconEmpire.
IconEmpire 2.0: New all-in-one graphic design toolkit for software developers!
IconEmpire is excited to announce the release of IconEmpire 2.0, a new versatile toolkit for creating and editing all kinds of graphics required in the software development cycle. Compatible with all Windows OS, the application allows developers to design professional-quality icons, static or animated cursors and interface elements - all in one easy to learn and use program environment.
IconEmpire 2.0 is a powerful utility for creating and editing icons and cursors in standard and custom sizes with the color depth up to 32-bit True Color. Developers can give their graphics an added gloss with numerous visual effects, ranging from semi-transparency to drop shadows. In addition to graphics design, the program allows for extracting and modifying standard icons or cursors stored in Windows executables, libraries and cursor files.
Besides icon/cursor design and management capabilities, IconEmpire enables developers to create multi-layer images that can be used as interface items. A sophisticated collection of effects will help breathe life into the software design. Along with gradient and chess fill effects, developers can resort to dozens of other stylistic options including drop shadow, opacity, smooth, negative, grayscale, colorize, rotate, and more.
"We are very excited about the release of IconEmpire 2.0," said Irina Mikhalyova, public relations manager at Icon Empire. "This program is a part of our new IconEmpire.com project which is aimed at providing developers with all the tools for software design development. At IconEmpire.com you can find such handy tools as IconCool Editor, Easy Icon Maker, XP Web Buttons, and Icon Viewer plus a big icon collection, links to icon and logo design companies, FAQ and articles on design - all in one place!"
Availability IconEmpire 2.0 runs under Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP/2003 and costs $29.95 (USD) for a single-developer license.
