I have not enjoyed using Quark 6 or 7 at all. There are issues with saving if your server is not a Mac server, and I have found both versions to be buggy. InDesign, on the other hand, seems to be a solid program with serious thought having been put into what a designer or production person would like to see. I have used both for a while, and have almost made a total switch from using Quark. I've always been a big Quark user but do use InDesign sometimes as well. I usually find them about equal in general use with a few things that each does a bit better.
