Dear everyone, This is the design of the logo for VSVN website, a social community for business. It is like "network for entrepreneur, investor, and other professional supporting the global Vietnamese technology and business community" (VSVN website). What do you think about my design? The address of the site: http://www.vsvn.org/Kind regards. Hung

Concept is weak, spend more time and do more research in developing a logo. Designing a logo should in reality take many long hours.

 Re: the logo for VSVN
All the logos you have posted on this board look like they're direct rip offs of other companies done MUCH worse, or built from a logo builder. Do you have a method for creating your logos, would you like us to help you to develop a method? Creating a logo can easily take over a year if done properly, dont half-tushie it or that's exactly what the end result will be as well.

 Re: the logo for VSVN
yeah I agree. I think way too many people forget to do their research and fail to come up with a concept before starting their logo designs. A lot of designers don't realize that in order to make a great logo, you need to do a million sketches and then a million more traces of those sketches, and THEN you go to the computer. Too many people just go straight to the computer, when really the computer should just be a final production tool to polish up your logo. But if you get on the computer before you have something solid, you'll just be "polishing poop"...as one of my old design teachers used to put it.

what shade said. i like a1 best, but none of these logos mean anything. you could plug in another company name and have the same effect.

The only logo that might have promise is A1 But don't forget to pay attention to your type. It's more than just finding a "cool font"
Take a look at your letters at the bottom of the logo in A1 They're too crowded. Give them some room to breathe. Play with the tracking and kerning.

 Re: the logo for VSVN
Only a1 is anywhere close personally. The brush stroke over it suggests a kind of 'umbrella' over the network, so it does actually say something visually. I have to admit, I do actually like the shape of the letters. But the lettering underneath needs work. There's nothing wrong with coming up with bad logos, as long as you eventually come up with the good one. And of course the bad ones are never used Gavin Leigh

 Re: the logo for VSVN
I think the brush stoke in A1 has been done to death, and the lettering below the mark is very poor.
I think A3 has the most promise.

 Re: the logo for VSVN
I would move the letters around some, like
S V V N
or
VS VN
with a background and/or letters in different colors.
