Post Recommended Design Books
Every once in a while this question arises so I thought we could make a sticky thread about design books.

Here's my list:

Kanji Pict • O • Graphix
- Michael Rowley

Marks of Excellence - The history and taxonomy of trademarks
- Per Mollerup

Typography: Formation + Tranformation - Introduction to typographic process
- Willi Kunz

Logo, Font & Letterting Bible
- Leslie Carbarga

Street Graphics India
- Barry Dawson

The Elements of Japanese Design - a handbook of family crests, heraldry & symbolism
- John Dower

The Elements of Typographic Style
- Robert Bringhurst

Look, Listen, Read
- Claude Lévi-Strauss

Man and His Symbols
- Carl G. Jung

At first glance these last two don't seem to have anything to do with design, but they do for me. As a matter of fact I could list every book I have.

If you all have lists and feel like adding them, the next time someone asks - we can just point them to this thread…

peace
