Post Hey - it's a MOVIE thread!
We just got back from "Run Fat Boy, Run", and it was HI-LARIOUS! Ah...popcorn and hot dogs at 10:40 am - can't get much better than that.

Seen any good movies lately? Theater or DVD? I also got a gem at Sam's Club a couple weeks ago - 15 episodes of an old western TV show, Laredo. It's just as good as I remember.

Rented August Rush recently and it was realllly good.
Also, Dan in Real Life was ok.

I haven't been to the movies in a while... I think Enchanted was the last one I went to.

I love CG movies, but I rather pay for rental than to go watch it at the theater, until I have kids then I have to do that.

I loved

I haven't seen that one Wabbit. My sister said it was really cute though. I'll have to watch it on my "on-demand" movies

I bought Stardust recently which is a very good film. Other than that I haven't seen anything new.

Just took the kids to see Horton hears a Hoo

It was pretty good, the kids love everything Dr. Seuss so it was definitely a hit with them.

I loved Ratatouille! It was much better than I thought it would be.

I hear Jackie Chan and Jet Li are finally making a movie together - woo-hoo, baby! "Forbidden Kingdom", which is based (I don't know how loosely) on the Dragonball anime. I love the Dragonball series, but only the Japanese version - the American version totally sucks!

I heard so many bad reviews of it that I never saw it.

I'll have to see it now.

I love Ratatouille. It is one of the best 3d animation movies. Brad Bird has done amazing job with Ratatouille deserve the Oscar. I even like his The Incredibles. Basically I love animated movies. So end up buying most of the DVDs as to see its making.

My husband is fan of Jackie Chan and I prefer Jet Li as I like the way his fights are choreographed very rhythmic. So finally there will be one movie which both of us can watch.
