Hey, do you know why they remove links sometimes?

To discourage SEO and spamming.

If it's iffy, sometimes we remove the link. If it's certain or habitual or annoying or complained about we usually remove the post or sometimes the poster or both.

There are other factors such as how involved the poster has been with the community. New members are given much less latitude than long time members and it also depends on who it is that decides to take action against the post since we each tend to handle things differently.

Removing the link leaves any value of the post (since anyone can still copy and paste) but removes the value of the link.

This decision is not always based on a single post, but is decided on upon reviewing patterns of the way the user is posting over all. So one post may look harmless, but if the user seems to be posting just to get their links out there or even enough to give the impression that they just might be doing that then some measures might be taken.

All the guy does is bloody spam, he does the same on DP too. Which is a shame because he has some nice content on his blog at times

I really enjoy these. Very inspiring.

Amazing collection i have seen a great range of photography about nature and this was one of the appealing one specially the one that was in the end names "Temple at the peak" it was a beautiful place.

Moonrise and Winter Evening are awesome but the rest are not that breathtakingly good at all. There are some which is beautiful in flickr.

My top picks were: Autumn in Red, Summer Rain, Rainy Night and Winter Evening. Breathtaking pictures i must say.
